When I decided to start the One Day Diet I was both skeptical & hopeful. Skeptical because I have tried so many different diets and never seemed to "beat" the diet dragon and hopeful because I want to be more healthy & thin! I've struggled with my weight most of my adult life.

I have had an awesome experience on the One Day Diet. It is not only healthy, but it is also so easy to do. I lost 8 pounds and 7 1/2 inches in the first 4 weeks. I don't get hungry and I don't feel as if I am being punished. Last Monday my husband took me to one of our favorite restaurants for a Valentine's Day dinner. Valentine's Day was on Tuesday, but since that was an "on" day, we decided to go on Monday instead. We had just visited this same restaurant in December for my birthday and I ate one half of an appetizer, a salad, a few pieces of bread and an entry with no problem. Monday I ate one half of the appetizer, one piece of bread and when the entry was served, I could only eat 4-5 bites before I was full. I could not eat another bite.

At 66, I was just no longer able to “exercise” the pounds and inches away. Even though I still work out at the gym regularly, it wasn’t “working” for me. I have lost 7 lbs on the One-Day Diet so far. And I have gained a process for being deliberate about what I eat. For me, it hasn't been anything dramatic. Like so many people my age, I have struggled to lose 10-15 lbs for several years. That might not seem like a big deal compared with the many obese people out there trying to lose weight to literally save their lives. But I think it's a familiar and frustrating battle for a lot of people.

The every other day process keeps me looking ahead. I see immediate results from my "On" days and that make me want to make better choices on my "Off" days. On my "Off" days, I want my calories to be satisfying both to my body AND to my self-esteem! That is a huge break through for me in the fast-paced drive-thru lifestyle that I've created for myself over the years. And, I also notice on my "On" days how much time I used to spend planning and creating meals that I now have as free time.

I realize the One-Day Diet isn't an exercise program, but I have noticed that losing an extra 5 lbs. or so (plus the energy from the 10-in-ONE vitamin) has made me more motivated to exercise! Double bonus!

I started the program weighing 215 pounds. My ideal weight is 190-200. I was hoping to get down to 200 by spring break. To my surprise, I was at 199 after one month! For my second month, I modified the plan a little to accommodate my job. I am now taking a shake and bar for breakfast and lunch every weekday and eating a sensible dinner. I thought that I would be able to maintain my ideal weight on this plan, but to my surprise I am still losing! I now weigh 197 half way through my second month. I don't expect to see much more dramatic loss because I am now in my ideal zone. But my energy level is good and I feel great! I will definitely continue on the products!

When I heard that I could eat the foods I like and still lose weight I thought sure I’ve heard that before, usually the only thing that even resembles the foods you like is the name. I am pleasantly surprised to say that it is true. I am eating what I like and in 6 weeks I have lost 19 lbs & 4 inches off my waist. This is the easiest diet I have ever been on. Usually I make it for the first month or so but I start missing real food so it is not long before I am breaking the diet just to have something good to eat.
